Martin and Kroegel Family

I want to paint for you the picture of a man who was raising three sons of his own, but who showed he was equal to the task of taking in three of his nephews when the need arose. This man was laid off due to Covid, so immersed himself in helping his boys tackle remote learning (no easy task for anyone, let alone one juggling the needs of six boys.) Just when his luck seemed to turn, and the boys were back in school and he was a week and half into a new job, this man inexplicably passed away. There are now six boys who are left without a father figure.

This man’s name was Mr. Charlie Martin of the Martin/Kroegel family. The grandmother of these boys struggles with health issues, so Mr. Martin’s significant other, Angel, has lovingly stepped up to keep the boys together. As you can imagine, taking care of six boys ages 14 to 2 is a daunting task in all ways, but the financial burden is quite significant. Angel is not able to even meet with Social Security until mid March, which just gets the process started. In the meantime, the family is in need of the daily necessities of living…for six boys.

Angel has a challenging and rewarding road ahead of her, but I am hoping that together we can smooth out this transitional time for the Martin/Kroegel family by easing the financial hardship they have ahead of them.
