Hi, my name is Martha, I'm ten years old, I live in East Devon, and I LOVE Alpacas!!!

My dream is to have three alpacas of my own. I have done lots of research on which breeds would be best for a beginner, how to look after them, and what they like to eat. I hope to have three male Huacaya alpacas, which are really fluffy - one black/brown, one light brown, and one white. They are going to be called (yes, I've already named them!) Lord Liquorice, Sir Peanut Butter, and Mr Whippy. The alpacas are going to live at a farm owned by some friends, or possibly in a field closer to home so that I can visit them each day and take really good care of them.

I am hoping to raise £1,000 which will go towards purchasing the alpacas, equipment, and shelter, as well as food and veterinary costs. I have made a really good start by starting a craft business, selling earrings and pompom keyrings at local craft fairs and markets, which has raised around £80 over the last few weeks. My parents have also said that they will match-fund any money that I can raise myself.

All donations, big or small, will go towards making my alpaca dream come true, and everyone that donates will be most welcome to visit me, Lord Liquorice, Sir Peanut Butter, and Mr Whippy!
