Martha's Breast Cancer Fund
Donation protected
On February 20th my mother, Martha Lancaster was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer.
Martha Lancaster is a beautiful 66 year old grandmother. This loving mother of 9 (4 biological, 1 step-son and 4 adoptied children) is the definition of selfless, putting everyones needs before her own. Now it is our turn to give back.
Martha has overcome many painful obstacles in her life. Along with being diagnosed with cancer Martha also suffers from diabetes, heart conditions, skin cancer, and joint deterioration in her knees which has unfortunately left her handicapped. What little walking she can do causes much pain.
I am raising funds for Martha's radiation treatments, medical supplies, converting her bi-level house to a handicapped accessible living space, care giving, and any other unforeseen expenses related to her medical conditions.
Martha lives in a bi-level house and the only way in is up or down stairs. Part of these funds will go to building a wheelchair accessible ramp to the back deck. Radiation treatment makes patients extremely weak and with her knees already having problems she will have little to no access in to the house.
Martha, her twin and younger sister all suffers from breast cancer. It is a growing concern that her cancers may be genetic and affect future generations. Any proceeds that are not used will be donated to the a breast cancer fund of Martha's choice to help others that may need assistance in the future.
All donations are appreciated and no donation is to small. Please reach out to everyone you know and help make a contribution to the fight against breast cancer.
