In Loving Memory  of Martha Ramos Quintana,

On Saturday, April 20, 2019 our lives were changed forever. Martha’s son was looking for his mom when he unexpectedly received one of the worst calls a human could ever get. Martha was on her way to deliver bread to her customers in Carpinteria when a tragic accident took her life. She was a dedicated, hard working and loving mother, sister and friend. Because she was strong and incredibly resilient she defeated breast cancer twice which made her a true warrior and champion of life. Stemming from her years in the bakery business, some of the locals in her community knew her as "Ann" because she was the owner of Ann’s Bakery, Port Hueneme. She loved to provide delicious cakes, breads and food for Ventura County and its surrounding areas, she did so for over 25 years and strived to make her customers feel like family. Martha treated everyone with love and respect and her selfless personality would often prioritize others before herself. She would always be willing to lend a hand in whatever way she could to all those she adored including complete strangers and her customers.

She loved to travel, dance, and enjoyed working out. But above all, she loved spending time with her loved ones. Along with her family that consisted of 3 sisters and 9 brothers who have been by her side throughout her life. This incredible lady had many friends who will miss her dearly. Her beautiful self and bright smile could light up a room and we are all at a loss of words for this tragic and sudden accident. However, we want to continue to celebrate her life along with all the joy and smiles she put on all those she touched. You could always count on Martha for a shoulder to cry on, for a loving hug and for any advice because she was wise beyond her years. We know that those that had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with her will cherish those times for the rest of their lives. Nothing can prepare us for an event such as this loss but we know that her legacy will be profound and carried on. All helping hands are greatly appreciated by her immediate family that consist of one 30 year old son, 23 year old daughter and a newly born grandson. We ask for your help and support as we lay a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend to rest. Thank you and God bless.
