While working towards graduating the FDNY EMS Academy Martha Pulgarian was diagnosed with Mucoepidermoid carcinoma cancer. On February 8th Martha will be graduating along side her probationary EMS colleagues and will begin treatment at Sloan Kettering. Unfortunately she hasn't been able to accrue enough time off to cover her treatment and rehabilitation, additionally her insurance insnt covering the whole procedure. We're reaching out to members of the FDNY to donate time off and for funds to help cover this procedure for her. Martha is a single parent of one and is a hard working, dedicated individual who will serve well in her new position as an EMT. All contributions will go directly to Martha to help her through this.
