Martha Fight for Recovery

Hey, as everyone knows Martha has had a continous struggle with healing from the after affects of an infected tooth being pulled, and the infection spreading. As you may remember a few years back Martha had the tooth pulled and infection spread into her jaw bone. She had to have surgery to remove the jaw bone. They placed a portion of the bone from her leg to replace the jaw bone. Infection damaged a perfectly health bone. Three surgeries later she was told she had a metal plate in place and would be okay. She was unhappy with the way it turned out, leaving her with physical scars to remind her daily what she had gone through. Fast forward a few years. Martha is living her life, when one day tradegy strikes again. They think she has broken her jaw. After X-rays she finds she didn't have a metal plate but what looks like a chain. And yes.... it had broken into several peices that were floating around in her jaw area, requiring surgery. Back to surgery we go. They remove another bone from her leg to replace the metal chain in her jaw. A 10 hour surgery was done. She is in a lot of pain. She has trouble walking on the leg. Her foot goes numb when trying to walk. One day in ICU and she is moved to the floor. She has complained of having problems beathing for three days. They finally check and find she has pneumonia, and the bottom portion of one of her lungs has collasped. The lungs were inflamed before surgery, but they decided to do the surgery anyway. Now the infection is back in the jaw. Back to surgery we go for round 5. The new perfectly health bone is damaged again. This is just a repeat. They remove the infection, in a 2 hour surgery and back to ICU she goes. This time with a feeding tube. What was supposed to be a week hospital stay has now been extended. Her husband is still working trying to make sure they have money coming in. He has had to leave work early when she had to go back into surgery. He is trying to make sure they have what they need, but save his time so when Martha gets to come home he can help take care of her for a week. I would like to ease some of the stress from this family while going through this nightmare. Bills don't stop because things happen. They have a family they have to feed and provide for. Martha and her husband support 3 beautiful children living in the home. We all know God is on her side, but the worry and stress are still there. So if you can donate anything at all to help them with the regular monthy bills, it would be apprecaited. This family also knows the struggle of making in the world we live in now.
