Please be in continued prayers for my Aunt Martha as her scheduled HIPEC Surgery draws nearer. She will have surgery on October 20th at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. She will be in ICU for around a projected 9days afterwards. Her healing will be a long journey. She covets our prayers, encouragement, support and love. **UPDATE Sept 7 2025**

On August 31st, 2025, Martha's husband entered into Heaven after a long illness. She is now suffering from a broken heart as well as trying to mamge life without him and fight for her own life.

Martha will be going to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital to undergo major surgery called the HIPEC Surgery/Procedure.

It is a 8-10 hour surgery-procedure estimated 8 days in

ICU. People are asking how can they help her? She needs your love, support, and prayers but could also desperately use your donatuons to her GoFunMe.

Martha has battled cancer 4th Stage Metastatic Colon Cancer since 2023. She has went through Colon Resection Surgery, Chemotherapy, Blood Clot in her Jugular Vein caused by Chemo Port, Liver and Diaphragm Resection Ablation Surgery and is currently back on Chemotherapy. Please pray for her healing and her heart alter losing her husband just a week ago. Thank you all and God Bless.

I wanted to take a minute and give an update on my Aunt Martha.....

on June 13th she was diagnosed with

Cancer of peritoneum/retroperitoneum (Abdominal Lining) secondary to Colon Cancer. She is back on Chemotherapy for 4-6 Rounds, then will have another PET Scan. If her treatments are helping then she will be having Surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Roger’s health continues to decline with physical disability and Dementia. Please continue to lift them both in your thoughts prayers and support. They need it ALL during this very difficult time. Both their medical bills continuebto rise but so does the cost of ALL the appointments and now the upcoming surgery and time at Wake Forest. This is my Aunt Martha and Uncle Roger Gravely. They have been in many people's thoughts and prayers for sometime now. Martha was diagnosed back in September2023 with stage 3 Colon Cancer. After major surgery in November and began Chemo in January 2024. After her first treatment she developed a blood clot in her jugular from her Chemo port.. She continued having chemo for 6 months.now again a week before Christmas 2024 Martha was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic Colon Cancer She had surgery Liver and diaphragm resection and ablation. In March her Signatera tumor DNA test blood biopsy cam back positive. However her new scan results were clear but will be retested again this month to monitor her lungs and liver. That just begins Martha's story. Her husband Roger has had declined health for the past several years. Last Monday Roger was once taken to the ER and admitted to Anmed for a week where he was treated for pneumonia and a mild stroke. He was released on Tueaday and sent to Pickrns Manna Rehab for therapy for a bit. They both continue to have a physical battle before them. One trying their best to care for the other while themselves as well. Thank you for your continued love prayers and support. They need them all.
