Our seniors have had a high school experience vastly different than that of their parents, older siblings and friends. Masks, "Remote" and "Hybrid" classes, empty bleachers and auditoriums, and entire athletics and fine arts seasons being wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our students are busy raising funds on their own through the school for events like Senior Banquet and Senior Week festivities, and their efforts are run with the assistance of the school and faculty advisors. Our Project Graduation committee's goal is to fund the school-sanctioned (but not school-organized) Project Graduation event, which is planned and funded solely by the work of parents of the graduating seniors. We get no financial support from the school.
We hope to give our graduates a special graduation celebration, and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Historically, graduates have attended "Project Graduation" on the night of their graduation ceremony. This is a chemical/substance-free event that allows the graduates to celebrate with each other one final time before going off in their own directions into adulthood. This event comes with a significant financial cost, and because of the pandemic our planning group got started late and is behind in our fundraising efforts. We are hoping to raise enough money to make this a night our graduates will never forget, and WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this happen!
