Marshmallow’s Journey
Most of you that know me know that animals makes up a very big part of my life. This little girl right here my kids have affectionately named Marshmallow. She is about 5 weeks old and will soon be ready to go to her forever home. There’s only 2 catches: 1. Marshmallow has a birth defect that’s going to need a lot of care. And 2. She’s all the way up in Minnesota.
Covid has restricted cargo travel for all pets until further notice. So she would either need a flight nanny or to be transported by a pet service over 1600 miles away.
Marshmallow’s current family is traveling to Nebraska thanksgiving week and we are hoping to bring her home to us that week as it will be one state closer to us. The average cost of holiday transport is about $1300. We are asking for any help whatsoever to try to get this girl home to us so she can get the best medical care possible.
Marshmallow was born with Ectopic Ureters, so she is unable to pee normally, and will need corrective surgery from a highly skilled surgeon which will be EXTREMELY costly. All I’m asking for is the opportunity to get this girl home to us and we can handle things from there.
