This past week, Marsha Williams suffered a heart attack, an intestinal blockage, fistula, and sepsis. Marsha has suffered with Crohn’s disease for most of her life and recently, within the last few years, lost her vision. In the hospital, a balloon was keeping her heart beating for five days. She had a 50/50 chance of surviving without it. But she pushed through. The doctors are astounded at her recovery. Now she suffers from severe delirium and memory loss, and requires physical and occupational therapy.
Marsha is a mother of two, Tammie and Phillip, and a grandmother of two, Tessa and Adia. Her only source of income is social security and a small pension from the telephone company she worked for all of her life. We are unable to cover all of the medical costs from her life saving treatments and recovery procedures.
Any amount donated is appreciated, and we are thankful for all of your support, especially around the holidays.
