My mom, Marsha Gleason is no stranger to cancer. They've been co-existing for forty years. Yes, you read that correctly. She overcame Hodgkins Lymphoma in 1981, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma in 2015, followed by Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (breast cancer) in 2020.
She's embraced these opportunities to hold onto her faith in God and lean on Him for her strength, endurance, and understanding.
She's a fighter by design. A mix of Proverbs 31 meets Beth Dutton for our fellow Yellowstone fans.
It's safe to say that not all of the fights she's encountered or entered into along the way have brought God the glory He's due. But she grew to know the amazing grace our Father has for us! Her story includes laying down her fight, submitting to God's Will, and receiving His Blessed Redemption.
Today, she faces new challenges as the cancer has relapsed and spread aggressively involving multiple organs, bone, spine, and muscular tissue.
We are asking for an offering to help relieve the physical, psychological, and financial stressors that are anticipated over the next 12 months as she undergoes treatment for Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma Relapsed Refractory Disease.
Up until a few weeks ago, she enjoyed her lunch lady life working for Aledo ISD in the Child Nutrition Department, and her plant lady life working at Stuart Nursery in Weatherford. She is a very proud Nanny to her two grandchildren, and she might like her daughter (that's me) and son-in-law just a little bit. Visitors make her heart happy!
Join us in supporting her in this fight! #flockparty #flockcancer
We hold your prayers as eternal treasure.
Sincerely,
Kelsi Bradley
"I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too." Mark 11:24-25
