Marshas Brain Aneurysm Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On March 16, 2020, Marsha Brown was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in her home. She had suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm and miraculously survived. She spent the next three weeks in the ICU and underwent multiple procedures including two major brain surgeries. Marsha was able to return home where she has been taking it one day at a time while undergoing physical and occupational therapy. She has been making incredible strides toward recovery, but this is only the beginning of a long journey ahead.
Marsha Brown is everyone’s rock. She is the person that has enough patience to gracefully mediate elevated situations, but is also the person that you want on your side if you ever get into a fight…because she WILL win. She is fierce force that protects her people and is the most incredible and compassionate mother to her three beautiful girls. She is a committed wife to her husband and the ultimate friend to those close to her. Marsha is a genuinely good person with a heart of gold.
Marsha is also a giver. She will give you the shirt off of her back, and now we have the opportunity to give back to her. The opportunity to support and uplift her. According to a study conducted in 2010, the average cost of the initial reparative surgery can cost up to $93,508 alone. Marsha was given a second chance at life, and now we have the chance to help her (and her family) survive the recovery.
This has been and will be a long physical, mental and emotional battle for Marsha and her family. Please understand that no donation amount is too small. This fund is to help with the cost of medical bills and living expenses while she is unable to work. The goal is to alleviate some of the financial burden, so that Marsha can focus on healing.
If you are unable to donate, would you please SHARE Marsha’s story? Share on social media, send to your friends and family, and do what you can to help this incredibly strong woman in her recovery journey. Let her know how much you care and that she is not alone in this.
EDIT (05.04.2020): Due to the incredibly generous response, we are able to increase the goal! Thank you all so much to those donating and sharing Marsha's story! Please keep spreading the word and sending all the love and prayers!
