Marshall Travis's American Discovery Trail hike.

Hi My name is Marshall Travis (trail name California Chrome) and I'm setting up this gofundme to help complete my goal of walking across the country using the American Discovery Trail. Starting February 13th, 2024, the goal will be to finish this thru-hike in one calendar year following a continuous footpath generally following the ADT. I am an experienced thru-hiker who has completed my Triple Crown of the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide Trails and am looking for my next big challenge. 

I am well aware of how monumentous the task I have given myself is and all the potential reasons why a trek like this might fail. Although I believe I have saved up enough funds, the reality is that unexpected money troubles are one of the main reasons a thru-hike fails. I would like to avoid this, hence the gofundme. Any help towards this goal will be greatly appreciated.
