Many of you know Landyn Smith from Touch N Go Academy and Santiago Charter Middle School. She lost her father this week and we are hoping our Soccer and School Families can help us raise funds to help Landyn and her family during this difficult time.

Beautiful words from Marshall's wife, Katie:

On 10/7/25, Marshall was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He had a ten-year battle with his synovial sarcoma, and on his worst days, this picture reminded him what he was fighting for. Even as his caregiver, I can't even begin to know what that was like and how hard it really was. From Day 1, he always had the attitude that there wasn't another option but to try everything they presented in front of him to delay what was told might be in his future. He soon discovered bracelets with "God's Got This" imprinted on them. That became his mantra. We brought hundreds of those bracelets over the years for our family members to support Marshall in prayer and for those in need of prayer and encouragement going through similar circumstances. Being a pastor's son, Marshall was always a natural at communicating with people and telling them about God, his faith, and his story. I, on the other hand, was more introverted when it came to approaching people, but these bracelets and Marshall's story and our experience with cancer gave me the courage to start sharing my faith and a purpose for doing it.

Marshall was a great husband, father, friend, provider, and person... but he was courageous in how he lived (in every aspect). He wasn't afraid, and that's how I think he would like to be remembered ❤️
