I am Sally, Marshall Kaniho's wife. Sadly, after 12 surgeries, Marshall is now a double amputee of both legs below the knee.

He was excited to get his prosthetic for his left leg, when he was dropped at Staub and got a terrible hole in his "good" right foot.They tried a bypass. It did not work. After infections and more gangrene he got the second amputation. He needs 24 hour care and was discharged on Saturday... then more infection. He is back at Queens. It is all day to day. We are trying to stay positive, but this is a 6 month to a year set back. Money for bill's and many medical issues is needed.
