I'm Jordan! I recently lost my job because my disability is making it harder for me to work. I'm getting married very soon (yay!!), but because my job loss was unexpected, I still have a few months left on my lease. My spouse-to-be lives in Germany, and I'm going to be moving to live with them, in part due to how unsafe being trans has gotten in Utah. The goal is to cover living expenses and rent for the next two months while I look for work/wait for my government aid to come through. Job hunting isn't going great because I'm in a wheelchair and, well, my queerness makes me less employable. My worsening symptoms mean I'm not up for a high stress job anymore, so I've got to look elsewhere and at lower paying jobs. I'll still have medical expenses, car payments, and insurance once I move in with my parents after my lease is up, so every little bit helps!

If I manage to go over my goal, any extra will go towards moving expenses! Particularly moving my two cats, who are very important to me!
