Marrakech International Storytelling Festival

Welcome I am John Row , curator of the worldstorytellingcafe.com and director of the 2022 Marrakech International Storytelling Festival. I am based in the U.K. but the technical staff of the website are based in Marrakech and Romania. I am raising funds for the festival.
Since the beginning of the pandemic the worldstorytellingcafe.com broadcast hundreds of tellers from across the world producing thousands of hours of stories. From 12 to 20 February we are putting on the Marrakech International Storytelling Festival.  We have received support in kind from the Riad owners of Marrakech who have donated a room each to provide accommodation for our tellers. We need funds to feed up to fifty tellers and other festival expenses. Entrance to all events is free with the facility for donations providing maximum access. This whole festival is being run on goodwill and we hope to help bring back tourists to the medina in Marrakech. The pandemic has caused real hardship to the city and we hope in our small wall to help alleviate this and at the same time put on the most amazing festival bringing together storytellers from all over the world in a city steeped in a  four thousand year old storytelling tradition https://worldstorytellingcafe.com/marrakech-international-storytelling-festival/
