Marquis Gantz Chemotherapy Treatment

Donation protected
My name is Marquis Gantz. I am a married 27 years old female with two children. A three year old son and a 10 year old daughter. My husband stays home to take care of our son and to assist me with my daily activities. Because of the pain from the cancer and surgeries, I am not able to sleep a full night, use the restroom without extra pain, or have a daily routine. With the physical pain brings so many stresses, finances being one of the most stressful. With the latest news from the doctors, my family and I will need as much support as possible. I start chemotherapy in approximately two weeks & I'm going to have to continue fighting this for the rest of my life. The doctor said I will lose all of my hair after the first treatment, she pretty much spelled out all the horrible side effects I actually have a list two pages long.

Please take a moment to read a short summary of my past year. If you’re not able to donate money, you can still help by share my story.

January 2018
I had been bleeding for 2 years (since I gave birth to our son Zeik) and I finally insist on being examined and he quickly discovered I have Cervical Cancer. He told me he could see the very large mass on my cervix & I would have to be treated for this in Cleveland.

April 2018
Radical Hysterectomy (removed cervix and uterus; was told right ovary placed higher up in my abdomen area & I was under the impression that she removed the left ovary and so was my husband so I know I'm not crazy!) The doctor was sure that she had gotten all the cancer out during surgery.
BTW: I wanted a Full Hysterectomy and asked for one multiple times. I have a child of each gender, am married, am 27 Years Old & I am/was 100% SURE I did not want anymore children!! {Unless I somehow became very wealthy, I would adopt anyways. Not only because of my childhood & knowing what it's like to be a lonely child but because *Excuse Me Women Who Enjoy Pregnancy, Nothing Against It, but it mostly just caused me a lot of pain, uncomfortability, nausea, etc.*

I wish I could input every single detail for you guys but honestly if you read through my Facebook page it is all there, I pretty much have everything documented & if you have anything to ask me please feel free, I'm still here.

Back to April of last year after my surgery; Extreme complications, since the day of that surgery I have been in more pain than before they operated. So I continue to have this pain in my lower right abdomen, that goes into my back and feels like a stabbing knife & gets increasingly worse to the point where I can feel some sort of round thing pushing out of my stomach not to mention everything else that's going on with my body.

January 2019
Granted I did stop bleeding but I'm in more pain than before I even had the cancer diagnosis to where my Gynecologist/Oncologist/Surgeon is telling me to come to Cleveland to get admitted to their ER to find out what's going on (I know finally, right?). I drive from Warren to Cleveland 3 days in a row in this condition then finally they admit me. I have an ultrasound done that shows I have a mass on my right ovary, -golf ball- size at this time, they asked me what I would like to do; I said take out both of my ovaries like I said last year and my doctor was still only going to take my right ovary that had the mass on it because all the scans/tests showed that my left ovary was fine. I was not convinced so we agreed if she saw anything at all that looked abnormal or would cause me another surgery then she would remove both ovaries which is exactly what happened.

When the doctor went in to remove the now - baseball sized - mass; she discovered my Fallopian tubes were filled with cancer.

March 12, 2019
At my appointment she explained to me that there are nodes on my pelvic floor and in Layman's terms this cancer is just going to keep coming back in a different place. She did not know that I had a mass or that it was in my Fallopian tubes, no wonder she didn't understand why I'm in so much pain… I still have cancer that's growing at full speed ahead with no thoughts of slowing down. She said that it will now go into my abdomen, liver or kidney (just keep travelling through my body always). There is no cure for this cancer.
