Our family is asking for your support for Marqius Gates, a loving mother of two daughters, ages 10 and 14. On Sunday, August 3rd, Marqius was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a serious accident. She sustained severe 2nd and 3rd-degree burns over 50% of her body.

Marqius is currently in the hospital, where she is facing a long and difficult recovery. We have been told to expect a hospital stay of 2 to 3 months, with multiple surgeries, a tracheostomy, feeding tube, and skin grafts.

While we are grateful that she has insurance, the costs of her extensive care, combined with the loss of her income, are a tremendous burden on our family. Her two daughters are starting school soon, and we want to ensure they have the financial and emotional support they need during this traumatic time.
