At the end of February, my mom and dad came to visit. Mom had a stubborn cough. My dad asked me what I thought. I told him they better head back to Canada early and see a dr. They got back and went to the hospital where they checked her out. They did Xrays and a ct of her chest. They saw some spots that looked concerning. They did a biopsy and it came back she has lung cancer with the largest tumor in her central lobe. As a precaution, they did a brain ct and sadly found cancer had spread to her brain already. I'm asking for people to keep us in our thoughts. This will be the biggest fight of her life. I'd like to fundraise some money to help with the transportation costs and medication costs of the treatment plans. They are staying in Kamloops BC but will have to travel back and forth to Kelowna and Vancouver to see the dr's. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
