A few of you have been generous enough to ask if we're accepting help to cover our beloved boy's unexpected trip to the emergency vet and... we are.

On April 7, we took Marlowe into emerge with a life-threatening complete urinary blockage. He stayed there under 24hr. care for three nights while they cleared the blockage, rehydrated him, and monitored his other organs closely for any lasting damage from the event. He's home with us now, on meds, and working towards making a full recovery so long as he sticks to a special diet from now on. His stay at the vet cost a total of nearly $6000.

It's been less than a year since we took him in as a rescue and he's only 3 years old now. He's got a long life ahead of him so getting Marlowe the treatment he needed was never a question. Paying for it? Now there's a better question! If you feel moved to help us answer that one, we are incredibly grateful to you. We had to set a fundraising goal to set this up, but we have no expectations and anything to help shoulder the financial burden is enough.
