Marlo's Hamster Needs Your Help

Hello, My name is Marlo! I have had a wide range of pets in my life and have always had many of them together at the same time. I got baby Connie (my beloved Hamster) On May 24, 2024 due to being a little lonely only having 1 dog but was not able to get another large animal due to living in a small apartment. Even though Connie was only $30 to get, she has been a little bit expensive lately due to her health. She started having unexplained bleeding months ago which unfortunately racked up a pretty big bill at the vet, But also this has been an on going issue. The other day when feeding her daily veggies I found that her eye is budging out of her eye socket and I am afraid it will get ripped out/infected when burrowing and cleaning herself :( I am thinking it could be Glaucoma which is not reversible. The cost of bringing her in to get examined is almost $200 not including other expenses that will be coming for her care. Due to being low Income at the moment I am not able to afford to continue to treat her for her new illness or have the money to euthanize her if needed. She is still a very young Hamster and has 2 years left of life and I don't want to watch her suffer and be in pain until she finally passes. I am asking for some help from my community to hopefully continue my babies care. Anything helps!! thanks for reading.
