My name is Anthony Killough and I grew up in Union County. I graduated from Parkwood High School in 1987. If you know me, you most likely know my brother Marlon.
Recently, Marlon was paralyzed by a lower back staph infection. He has had 2 emergency back surgeries. He was paralyzed from the neck down but now is from the waist down. He is entering rehab to learn to live from a wheelchair. Our prayer is he will someday walk. This is life changing for all of our family.
Our pride keeps us from asking others for help when we need it most. Marlon needs a lot. He needs a bed, wheelchair accessible shower, and a hardwood floor so he can use his wheelchair in his bedroom, and various other supplies like a lift and cleaning supplies. So please if you can, help us. If you can't give monetarily, we are open and very appreciative of any ideas, contacts, or if you would be willing to volunteer your time to help with some light construction.
We are trying to get Medicaid, but this will take some time. He is in good spirits and willing to fight the challenges that lie ahead. So, in advance, from my family to yours, thank you. Please keep him in your prayers that God may bless him and keep him strong through all of this.
God Bless,
Anthony Killough
