- My name is Phyllis Marshall. On January 16, 2024, KCRA the local NBC news affiliate aired a story about Marlon Harris. Mr. Harris is a retired Veteran who lives with his wife in Sacramento, Ca. Both Mr. Harris and his wife suffer from severe healthcare problems. On January 2, 2024, two armed men broke into his home and robbed him of his life’s savings. The robbers stole more than $36,000 in cash. He and his wife saved this money for years, which was being used to pay for their medical and health related expenses. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Harris today, and offered to set up a go-fund- me account to help him recoup some of his losses. Mr. Harris who is a kind and humble man was appreciative of the support. I would appreciate it if you would consider making a contribution to this fund. Thank you for your consideration.
