It has been a tough month for the Orgovan-Lee family, having suddenly lost two parents in a little over two weeks from each other.
We were stunned when Karen Orgovan had a heart attack on the morning of May 31st, and we were deeply saddened when she passed away after nearly two weeks in the ICU on June 12th at the age of 61.
Shortly after, we were shocked when Marlin Lee tested positive for COVID-19 on June 16th, was admitted to the VA Hospital on June 23rd, and passed away on July 1st at the age of 58.
Karen was a spark of joy to everyone that knew her. She loved her family, volunteering, and getting to meet new people. She treated you like a life-long friend, even if you just met!

One of Karen's favorite places to visit was Lips, a local drag queen club, where she became close friends with many of the performers. She saw Drag as an art form that encouraged people to love themselves.

Karen is survived by her two children: Ben and Megan; three grandchildren: Alex, Nathaniel, and Kirra; ex-husband Harry; sister: Pam; and countless friends.

Marlin was a great father, grandfather, and friend. He immensely loved all who were close to him. One of our best memories was when we took a family trip to the Grand Canyon.

He served in the Navy from 1988 to 2004, when he was diagnosed with kidney failure and was medically discharged. He was on dialysis for several years and eventually received a kidney transplant, but his love of life or sense of humor never diminished despite all of his issues.

Marlin is survived by his two children: Brandon and Dalton; three grandchildren: Jaidan, DJ, and Elijah; ex-wife: Regina; siblings: Mike, Randy, and Ch'Ree; and mother: Yetta.

All of your support will go towards funeral expenses, settling medical debt, and probate costs. Any additional funds will help ease the financial burden faced by the families as they navigate life without Marlin and Karen.
With love and gratitude,
The Orgovan-Lee Family
