Marleys Knee Surgery

We got some bad news over the weekend - our beloved shop pet Marley requires knee surgery :(

She was just at the vet a few weeks back for a full checkup and everything came back great!  Then she started favoring one of her back legs.... after assuming it was a strain for a few days and not seeing any improvement, back to the vet she went.

After scans they determined Marley has a Grade 4 (the most serious) issue with her Patella (it's a small bone in the knee that sits in a groove at the bottom of the femur - basically constant displacement.

She is resilient and as happy as ever, but we can tell she is also in pain and this needs to be done ASAP.

We have set a goal to have the surgery within 3 weeks if possible.  The cost of the surgery is $1300 - IVC is able to put up $500, and some of our employees here will be adding to that fund directly, but we still have a gap.  A gap we are asking you to consider helping us fill.

Marley is affectionately known around here as the 'Chief Happiness Officer' - she will give snuggles and kisses to anyone.  We hate seeing her like this.
