Marley’s Amputation Recovery

I’m Livi’s mom and I’m hoping to fundraise to help Marley & Livi find their new normal with this huge change in their life.

It all began 4 and half months ago with a small infection on Marley’s leg from a simple fall on the ice. That turned into numerous ER visits, long term hospital stays and many, many doctor’s visits with no real answers as to what it was or how to stop it. Marley & Livi’s world was turned upside down this past week when Marley’s leg infection had irreversible effects - the only option was amputation below the right knee.

The rehabilitation will be difficult and the process of navigating this new life for a young couple will be a constant uphill battle.

I am hoping to alleviate some of the burden for a few months while Marley is healing and unable to work. The required medical devices, rent and living expenses will add up and they need help to have a fighting chance to live as normal a life as possible.

Your support means the world to both Marley’s family and ours. These two beautiful souls have had their lives altered in the most dramatic way but they have both kept as positive an outlook as they can. Marley is a fighter and is aiming to get mobile enough to go back to school in the fall and continue her education degree. Please help us make that happen for her.
