Meet Marley Moo, our 8-year old rescue pup!
We're a queer family who adopted him in 2017, and he has been our best friend and most beloved companion over the last two and a half years, and has brought so much love and light into our lives. We don't exactly know what his breed is (schnoodle? havanese mix? maltipoo? who knows!).
He loves cuddling, playing fetch, stealing his Moms' cheese, and letting everyone know when the neighbors walk by. He is a truly wonderful dog.
Unfortunately, just after we were affected by pandemic job loss, our sweet little dog was suddenly diagnosed with malignant cancer: Adenocarcinoma of the anal glands.
We have chosen to pursue treatment because our very talented surgeon in at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center in La Mesa, California told us that his cancer is very localized and that after surgery and a round of radiation, we will likely have several more years of a happy, healthy dog with a good quality of life.
So, this is what we're asking for help with:
The rough estimate for the CT scan, the removal surgery and the first round of radiation is approximately $10,000. --- (Update as of 12/2/2020: $14,000)
If you have anything you'd like to contribute towards this unexpected expense and his ongoing treatment, we'd be super grateful, and so would he!
All of our love,
Mandy, Joelle & Marley Moo
(Also, I mean, just look at him?! He's really cute y'all. ♥)

Thank you thank you thank you thank you in advance!
