Marley & Josh Need a Helping Paw

This past Monday (6/11) Josh's dog Marley had an accidental overdose after getting into a bottle of ibuprofen. After four nights in critical care at the Pets Referral Center in Berkeley, CA, Marley is showing signs of improvement and the vets are saying he has a fighting chance.
Marley's been a fighter his whole life. Josh originally picked him up as a rescue dog in San Francisco. After Marley moved in, he trained Josh to go on regular walks, talk to strangers, and go hiking - quite the incredible feats! Marley's lived across the country, including the chill vibes in Alameda, the dead heat of New Orleans, the cold winters of Brooklyn, and now back to his Oakland roots. Through it all, Marley stuck it out with the highest of energy, always ready for the next adventure. Anyone who's met Marley knows that he instantly thinks you are his best friend!
The recovery from this is going to be tough. Not just for Marley, but for Josh too. Josh has already incurred about $9,200 in hospital. After this weekend that will likely shoot up to $12,000 and only continue afterwards. Marley still hasn't left the hospital, has had his stomach pumped, is on constant IV, and is the hospital most intensive patient. Medically, the main issue right now for Marley is that he's not properly forming blood clots. The vets say that this is a rare reaction and something they haven't seen before. Yet there are signs of improvement. After a really rough Wednesday night, Marley was showing signs of improvement and even wagging his tail when Josh saw him Thursday night!
Whatever you can contribute would mean a lot to me, Josh, and Marley. Large or small, anything you can contribute will help us out, even if it's just positive vibes.
Thank you,
Zack, Josh, & Marley (and the Feinberg family)
