Hi, my name is Helen and I am fundraising for a 5 year old little boy called Marley and his family.

Marley has been diagnosed with crangiopharyngioma, a rare slow growing tumour that has developed just above the pituitary gland in his brain. Marley is facing brain surgery and radiotherapy and a gruelling lifelong journey ahead of him.

I recently did a fundraiser for Marleys mum, Teri, who was widowed 5 years ago when Marley was a baby. His Dad died of cancer and Teri has 3 young boys including Marley . Teri herself is struggling with a damaged heart and frequent infections and surgeries herself. She recently had 3 open heart surgeries in a ten day period and is still fighting an infection in her heart. Currently she is going to hospitals in Bristol 2-3 times a week - the Heart Institute for her and the Children’s Hospital for Marley.

Teri has now had to give up her business as she cannot cope with working as well as looking after herself, Marley and his two brothers, Shay aged 8 and Rory who has just turned 10. They all live with her Mum who is carer for Teri’s brother who himself has had 2 brain tumours.

I would just like to help take the financial pressure off the family- all the trips to hospital are expensive and the situation is only going to become more stressful for them. This family desperately need a bit of assistance as well as lots of thoughts and prayers. Thankyou for anything you can give
