Regret is one of the hardest things to carry, especially when it involves family.

Yesterday was the most painful day of my life — losing another loved one within just five years has left me broken.

My mother was the strongest woman I have ever known. She lived a good life, filled with happiness and achievements, but I only wish we had more time — more smiles, more laughter, more moments together.

Life is busy and demanding. We get caught up in work, distance, and the everyday struggle to make ends meet, and too often we forget to pause and truly make time for those we love. I know I am guilty of this.

So I say this to all of you: your family is everything. Make time for the people closest to you — especially your mum. She is the one who listens, who gives advice, who supports you when no one else can. She is the diamond in your life.

If you are lucky enough to still have your mum, hug her tightly and tell her you love her. I will never get that chance again.

It has only been since last night that she left, and already I miss her more than words can say. But I take some comfort in knowing she is now with my brother, and I truly hope heaven is real.

So I am pleading for help with trying to raise some funds for my mother funeral
