Marla's IMHA Treatment Costs

If you've been lucky enough to know Marla (and her humans Emmeline and John), you know how loved she is. They treat her like the queen she is and in return she gives them so much joy and love. Over the past few days, Marla has not been herself. Emmeline and John took her to the emergency vet three times before getting the answer no pet parent wants to hear - she has a serious illness called immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). This is an autoimmune disease where the body attacks its own red blood cells. In order to stop this, she will require aggressive treatment including a very expensive hospitalization which Emmeline and John have already paid the deposit ($8,000) for. Emmeline and John go above and beyond for their friends, family, and especially their fur baby. This GoFundMe is my attempt at easing their minds during an already stressful time. Anything helps!
