My daddy...Mark Vreeland...& cancer

Donation protected
A year ago my dad lost the love of his life without warning. I think this may have initiated the emotional and physical battle that was to come soon after. Last year my dad had a tumor in his shoulder rupture. My sister and I tended to the brutal wound. I have never seen anything like it in my life and doubt I ever will again. The pain my dad suffered was immense and unimaginable. Eventually he was able to get the remainder of this particular tumor removed. The surgery was intensive and required three large successive skin graphs to be taken in order to cover the healing wound. Immediately after this surgery my dads doctors discovered an additional tumor in the lymph nodes under his arm. They scheduled and preformed another surgery . After this my dad had to undergo painful radiation therapy. At the time we were just glad the surgeries seemed to be over and the doctors had not planned on chemotherapy. During this time, my father had to take time off work . The radiation was done five days a week and had been extremely painful. My sister and I continued to tend to my dads wounds and help whenever and however we could . Eventually my father finished and recovered from the radiation. For a few short weeks we thought the battle had been won. Then my daddy went in for what was supposed to be a routine follow up. They found stage four cancer throughout his lunges with multiple tumors in each side. This time the doctors decided to do chemotherapy. At first my father kept the new diagnosis hidden from me and my sister. He started chemo for the lung cancer and the following night his femur bone snapped while he was simply standing. My dad had to drag himself to phone where he then called an ambulance. He had mentioned a pain in legs to my sister and I as well as to his doctors but they had written it off as sciatica symptoms. Me and my sister should have suspected the severity of my dads pain immediately. He never complains of minor pain...It turns out cancer in his leg bones had been the reason for the break... I know many of you hardly know me let alone my father. Even so I expect many of you know well the pain of watching someone you love more than life itself ...suffer and struggle. My dad is not one to ask for help but as his daughter I wanted to humbly ask for any of you to make some type of contribution.. It would really mean a lot to me and of corse to him .. Any contribution to this fund would feed and fuel our hope..which is vital at this time... My dads war against cancer still rages.. If you can't contribute anything financially please pray.. And thank you -anyone who took the time to read this... God bless you . Please share...❤️
