Mark’s Unexpected Surgery

Hello,

My name is Torie and I live in Auburn,ME. Last weekend my partner Mark took a fall in the woods. I took him to a quick care where they did X-rays and confirmed he had broken his tibia, fibula and suffered an avulsion fracture on his lateral malleolus. Upon following up with an orthopedic doctor it was confirmed he would need surgical intervention to fix it. He had surgery on 1/10/2023 and is currently starting to recover. Mark is the main provider for our family of 4 and the time he will have to be out of work provides us with many upcoming challenges. I work per diem and I’m trying to get as many hours at work as possible, but it unfortunately still won’t be enough to pay our bills/basic necessities. He is projected to be out of work until at least the beginning of March. I’ve explored many resources and I’m currently trying to get some help with certain things, but anything anybody could donate would help me put gas in my car to get to work and try to stay current on bills so we don’t fall too far behind. It’s not easy having to ask for help, but we would be immensely grateful for anything people are willing to donate. Thank you in advance
