Hi, my name is Sheila Novak. My son is Mark Novak. Mark was recently diagnosed with two different types of cancers. He underwent extensive surgery on March 28, 2022. Mark had a partial nephrectomy (kidney removal), a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal), and several lesions removed from his liver. The largest tumor was on the ligament that connects the liver and small intestine; removing this tumor also required a portion of the pancreas to be removed. I am starting this fundraiser to help my son with medical expenses, and to help him to be able to support his family while he is recovering and unable to work.
