Mark’s Final Pursuit
Donation protected
On the 28th December 2023, our dad, Mark Senior, died suddenly whilst at the gym. He was 59.
Dad always loved to talk about space, time, and relativity, with it being one of the topics he was frustratingly knowledgeable on – this interest only grew more as SpaceX became more popular among the space-travel community. There were times where our dad would stay up into the early hours of the morning to watch SpaceX launch their latest rocket or attempt to land Starship, reminiscent of his childhood when he was woken up in the middle of the night by his dad to ‘watch history’ whilst Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon, paving the way for humanity as well as our dad’s growing interest.
When dad was alive, we saw an article about launching ashes into space. We all agreed that it would be just the coolest thing ever, but that it would be out of the realms of reality for us ‘normal’ people. We have found several companies, including one that uses SpaceX orbital launches. We have decided that we would absolutely love for dad to go to space on his final journey. We would like to ask for donations to help us achieve this goal. Dad would have loved for the people he knew and loved to be part of his journey.
