Mark's Fight Ends, Annmarie's Struggle Continues
Donation protected
Hi, we’re Annmarie Colwell’s sisters Samantha and Patricia. Yesterday she had to do the hardest thing imaginable. She said goodbye to the love of her life, Mark Colwell. To say this year has been rough for them is an understatement.
In February Mark was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, right before returning to his beloved law enforcement profession. He fought so hard to win the battle, but months of radiation and chemotherapy finally got the better of him.
On Christmas Eve he suffered a catastrophic stroke, which injured most of his brain and put him in a coma. On December 30th he passed peacefully, with his wife and daughters by his side.
Annmarie’s struggle is far from over. Mark’s months of treatment has devastated them financially. Annmarie worked the hours she could between time spent taking Mark to his various appointments, but it covered little of the medical expenses incurred, let alone routine household expenses. Our sister could really use a helping hand right now.
If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount today, it will relieve some of this financial burden. Mark was always committed to serving his country and community, volunteering as an Honor Guard member to recognize other fallen heroes for decades. Both he and Annmarie worked tirelessly during Law Enforcement Officers Week each year to recognize police and corrections personnel across the South West Florida region.
Please, please consider helping her now, in Mark’s memory, in her time of need.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
