We all know a guy that will make you smile as soon as you see him - he's always positive, always making people laugh, always the life of the party. For my family, that guy is Mark Richards.
Mark and my brother have been best friends since 3rd grade. Mark has always been my "brother from another mother." I've had the privildge of watching the two of them go from elemetary school through college together, golf, get in trouble, be in each others weddings, work professionally together, and even become parents. They are the best of friends. Mark is an incredible example of a Godly man, loving husband, and wonderful father.
For reasons no one can understand, Mark, a healthy 30 year old guy who's never smoked a day in his life, was just this past week diagnosed with Non Small Cell Carcinoma Lung Cancer. Mark and his sweet wife, Amber, are traveling this week to MD Anderson in Houston to find out what stage it is in and treatment options.
We are starting this go fund me to help raise support for them in their journey ahead. Any contribution you can make is appreciated. More then anything though, they ask for your prayers. Pray that God will preform a miracle and that Mark would have complete and total healing and live a long, full life with his precious family. Pray for the doctors to have wisdom. Pray for Amber, their son Cooper, and their families, to have a peace & comfort that surpasses all understanding.
