Mark and Lisa Patrick

There is nothing better than coming together as family, friends, acquaintances, and as a community to show support for someone in need. Many of you may not know Mark Patrick personally but everyone knows Lisa Patrick. As some of you know already, the struggle the family has been through over the last 9 months has been a roller coaster of wins and losses. Mark and Lisa have been dealing with doctors, hospitals, chemotherapy, radiation, home health, ER visits and countless other obstacles to get Mark back to good health. While trying to find answers to his declining health, Lisa has put her job on hold to be with Mark. Lisa has been Mark's rock, provider, caretaker, and biggest supporter. They are currently at MD Anderson in Houston, TX which is where more tests will be done. Due to this unexpected travel to Houston, the expenses are piling up since we don't know when Mark will be able to come home.  As of right now there is no definitive diagnosis, but don't worry, MD Anderson is on top of it. The financial struggle that a medical up hill battle puts on a family is intense. The humble people that Mark and Lisa are would mislead you to believe everything is ok, when in reality a little assistance, message of hope, or kind words can brighten anyone's day and lift Mark and Lisa's spirits. Any donation will help with the expenses!!! Mark and Lisa have always been very generous and quick to the rescue for their friends and family. While they are in the time of need, let's do what we can to support them with our generosity!! Lisa put a picture on facebook with a quote "someone said I don't know how you do it - I said I wasn't given a choice." For many of you, and as for me, this resonated in my heart, knowing I would do anything, go anywhere, and give everything for a loved one.
