Dear Friends, Family and Community,

I am reaching out to you on behalf of the family of Markia Daniels, who is currently facing an unimaginable situation. On the morning of their mother/ grandmother's homegoing celebration they awoke to the sudden heartbreaking news of the loss of Markia.

No one should have to bury their mother and lose a child on the same day. One loss is extremely challenging but having to arrange two back-to-back services is an overwhelming burden that no family should have to endure nor carry alone.

Please help us in rallying together to provide help during this challenging time. The funds raised will be used to ensure that Markia receives a pleasant home going, and a portion of the funds will be allocated to assist with the needs of her 8-year-old son. He lost his mother a few days before his birthday, which is on the 28th, and we want to give him a special celebration, so this is not the only way that he remembers his birthday for the rest of his life.
