Mark Holt, homeless Nam Vet

Donation protected
Mark S. Holt enlisted in the Marine Corp at the tender age of 17 to fight in the Vietnam War during a time when many were drafted. Upon his return he was never the same and eventually was diagnosed with schizophrenia. PTSD was not a diagnosis in the early 70s and he was never able to get proper treatment to address his volatile behavior which plagued him the rest of his life.

Like a lot of Vietnam Vet's, Mark ended up on the streets. He was left to his own devices and was found frozen to death on 3/2/15. He left behind one sister to shoulder the burial expenses. Although the Military covers the cost of the plot and headstone, the rest of the funeral costs are not covered. If you are able, please contribute what you can to send this Marine on his final mission. Your prayers for the family are appreciated, God bless!
