Markey Family Tragedy

Hey y’all, I’m Sandy Dooley and I’m raising funds for my Aunt Mona & Cousin Kevin. To give you a little insight on why this is so important to me. My aunt has lived in New Jersey for the better part of 40 years. She met & married the love of her life 30 something years ago and they had my cousin 29 years ago. My cousin was diagnosed with MD when he was around 5 years old and has been confined in a wheelchair since. To say their life has had it's ups and downs is and understatement. Fast forward to October 24, 2021 when my aunt lost her husband & best friend and my cousin lost his daddy & role model, not to mention many family and friends lost an amazing man from their lives. We got a call on Thursday, September 1, 2022 just after 12am informing us that my aunt & cousin had just got home from a concert to a smell of gas in the neighborhood. Once they got to the front door, that’s when they realized the smell was coming from the inside of their house. They quickly left their property to only watch their family home become engulfed in flames. They have lost all valuables, clothing, all medical supplies that my cousin needs for his MD( wheelchair charger, medical bed, c-pap machinery) as well as their family dog, Potter. All funds raised will be giving to my Aunt Mona & Cousin Kevin to assist helping them with housing, food, clothing and medical expenses until they are able to get on their feet. Any and all help is greatly appreciated from my family.. If you are unable to donate it’s completely understandable, but the power of prayer is appreciated too.
