We are asking for help for Marker Case. Marker is a beloved Schindewolf teacher. He arrived at school on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 not feeling well and after being assessed by the school clinic it was determined that Mr. Case needed to be taken to the hospital. After arriving at the hospital it was determined that he had contracted an aggressive flesh eating bacteria. Mr. Case underwent emergency surgery, and unfortunately doctors had no choice but to amputate his leg. As you can imagine, Mr. Case will have a long road to recovery. Some of his challenges will be that Mr. Case lives alone and does not have family close by to assist, and he has two furry friends that also will need help. In spite of all of these recent challenges, Marker is anxious to return to his home at Schindewolf and see all of his students.
If you know Marker, you know that he has a heart of gold and does everything for everyone. He is a person of great faith and this is our opportunity to show him that his faith is well placed and God provides.
We are asking for support to help Mr. Case with medical bills, accommodations or assistive upgrades to his home, and care for his pets while he is in rehab. Any help is greatly appreciated no matter how small of an amount.
