The Spring Ridge family is trying to raise money for one of its own, the Chappelear family.  In October of 2015, after years of suffering severe headaches, a mass was found on Mark's spine. A biopsy was performed and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma inside his spinal cord.

Mark went through intense radiation and infusion treatments in an attempt to battle his disease. Unfortunately, in May of this year they found multiple blood clots in his brain. He has since been in and out of hospitals and is currently suffering from confusion, weakness, and pain. He is now home with Hospice care. Mark's wife Sharon, daughter Jordan and Jordan's fiance, Andrew, have been with him throughout it all.

Obviously, Mark is unable to work and has not for some time. Sharon, a preschool teacher, has missed many days of work and right now is giving 24/7 to the care of Mark. The money we raise will be used to help with outrageous hospital and medical bills as well as expenses they will incure as they continue to fight this courageous battle as a family.
