Mark Habicht's ALS Care Expenses
Donation protected
My name is Mark Habicht. I was a lifelong, competitive athlete that ran my family's 108 year old manufacturing business. In October, 2011 I noticed changes that I refused to believe were age related. By August, 2012 my research had led me to the realization that I had ALS and doctors confirmed my findings on October 18, 2012.
I know that I have inside of me the ability to fight this for many years and hopefully benefit from the cure. The reality that I am facing is that I am declining the things that would prolong my life because the care costs exceed my income. Nobody should have to decide whether to live or die based on money. My mind works exceptionally well and my eyes would love to see what my 4 children (ages 10-25) have in their futures. Please help give me that chance.
