Mark is 38, a humble, working man, who has been married for 18 years and has a beautiful family with his wife, Staci and their two daughters. And he just recently had a stroke.
This came out of the blue, with no warning signs, and happened after he came home from work. His left side stopped responding, and Staci rushed him to the emergency room.
After being stabilized, he was hospitalized and the doctors eventually diagnosed him with Moyamoya disease, rare, progressive cerebrovascular disorder that causes blocked arteries at the base of the brain.
This disease, if left untreated, will certainly cause more strokes, and eventually, death.
Mark is a fighter, and not willing to give up on his family, and he is scheduled for his first of many brain surgeries on April the second. He will essentially need a series of bypass operations performed, to help restore proper blood flow to his brain.
We are asking you to help Mark and his family, by donating to help cover the medical bills and associated costs of these surgeries. While Mark is recovering, he will be unable to work. He is currently using his sick leave and vacation time from his job, but that will soon run out. Staci is still able to work some, but caring for her husband is her biggest priority right now.
Whatever help that you can offer is appreciated and welcomed. Any funds that are raised will be used to help pay the enormous medical bills that are coming. Money is welcomed and appreciated, and so are prayers and good intentions.
Again, his first surgery is April 2, and the bills will be there soon after. Thank you for your time and support!
