Hi my name is Darren , I’m passing the hat around for Mark Wilson .

Mark was at the mining camp after work , his usual routine is to have dinner then call the love of his life , Carmila.

During this call Marks health took a turn for the worse. In the next few hours Mark found himself on chopper ride to Mackay Hospital in an induced coma!

3days later , still in a coma , another flight to Townsville Hospital.

In the meantime all his work mates were at work with little to no news . I’m happy to say he is now out of the coma and recovering from brain surgery.

He has his parents by his side, they are from out of town, keeping a watch over him . His wife is here also ,along with a quick visit from his children .

Both his sisters have also visited and plan to be back asap.

As a result this going to take a fair bit of time and money from friends and family.

Hence the passing the hat around for a group to rally around and support him and his family in a time of need.
