Mark Welby Williams and Lorela could use your help

Hi Friends and Family Welby (Mark) Williams had a serious fall down a set of stairs on Dec 30th. He landed at the foot of the stairs on his head and was unconscious. EMS took him to Somerset hospital and put him on life support. He had a bleed on his brain. It took 5 hours to arrange proper transportation to UK hospital ER. Very scary for family.
At UK, emergent surgery was performed for an epidural hematoma (brain bleed on the outside of the brain). He spent the next 10 days on life support and in very serious condition. We've been praying and appreciating all of your prayers!
He's making slow but promising progress from a traumatic brain injury. He's been weaned off the ventilator and showing signs of responsiveness, recognition of family, aware of self, tries to speak but still has a weak voice. At this time, he's still receiving tube feedings and starting to get set up into a chair.
It will be one step forward and one step back per his medical team. Praises to UK neurosurgery and trauma teams and ICU for excellent care and communication.
We're anticipating a significant medical bill on his new Medicare plan, he just turned 65 and is self employed. I'm sure his wife and two children will incur overwhelming copays.
If you would like to support this family, please know that your contribution would be so appreciated
