If you're from or near the Santa Barbara County area, chances are you heard about or witnessed the microburst storm that happened a few days ago. My father sadly was caught up in it, wrong place wrong time. He frequently takes leisurely bike rides downtown, and this day was like every other. Unfortunately, during the microburst, the 80 mph winds flew a kayak at my dad's ribs and broke 4 of them. Along with this, one of his lungs collapsed and filled with fluids, so he's currently in the Downtown Cottage Hospital in the ICU Trauma Unit.
