Mark Townsend, a man experiencing homelessness, can often be seen outside Gristedes on University Place, chatting with people walking by and saying "One penny's all we ask". He is a pillar of the community and a friendly face to all. Last Friday, Mark had a heart attack and has been in the hospital ever since. He is now on life support.
